Wenxing Bridge

Wenxing Bridge was built with single-hole-wooden-structure using traditional craft method that was seen in stilted building in 1746. The roadbed of the bridge was stuffed by huge river pebbles instead of harden cement which was a miracle that the brick walls had never crumbled in the past hundreds of years.

Buildings in Tongdao are unique. The residential buildings use local wood and stone as material and integrate perfectly with natural landscape.
